 hello,  my problem have just installed windows 10 pro upgrade windows 8.1 pro [installation the official dvd iso] , went > resulting in windows 10 pro version 10240. but... after 2 hours of testing , checking new features, decided proceed "anniversary upgrade" version 14393 available microsoft [windows10upgrade28084.exe]. all went well, until process reached 85% of updating. then installer displayed message "something went wrong" error code: 0x80070057. i tried apply update again, , again - same thing happened 4 times in row > error @ 85%. i checked windows registry errors , corrected issues, i performed disk cleaning , restarted pc same thing happened again. considering whole process start until error appears takes 1 hour, trying upgrade 4 times no result total waste of time. i want to mention 1 day before did same upgrade version 14393 on laptop of friend, , went without any problems. this problem appeared on desk

hello all,  the current update failing install 2017-05 cumulative update windows 10 version 1607 x64-based systems (kb4019472) the issue not download else have seen here, not install on machine. can download fine windows update, , have downloaded microsoft update catalog. requires restart finish installing, directly after restart tell me failed install on said date going 4/28/2017. windows update troubleshooter doesn't either because tells me fixed need restart computer.  the issue annoying because keep computer in needs restart status. when restart it, alas same message. unable changes reverting back.   i have windows 10 home version 1607 stated cumulative update posted earlier. 64 bit os /  intel i7 cpu. any appreciated.   updating version 1703 of windows 10 current stable should solve wu issue , make system date well. use media creation tool or upgrade assistant upgrade system creators

i'm trying to run an old dos game utilises dos emulator(dosbox), part working brilliantly, 1 of important keys me use f5, every time press cortana opening , minimizing game extremely frustrating. i've done few searches no luck far. don't want cortana if i'm brutally honest, there isn't option remove it. is there way change function key settings in cortana or have done elsewhere? hi, with regard concern, suggest turn off cortana , see if opens when press f5. please refer image below on how turn cortana off. let know how goes. after updating windows10 creator experience following issues laptop startup time has increased the search cortana doesn't work except apps or settings mean if search control panel or file explorer or , files cortana's shows me search result on clicking doesn't launch it.
