Attempting to recover installation endless loop - Microsoft Community

i got new laptop 3 days ago , came windows 10 installed. yesterday prompted me start update did , today, it's still stuck on "attempting recover installation" on black screen , no clickable icons. restarting not help. laptop lenovo yogabook 510 14" i7.

well seeing laptop 3 days old, can return store bought or perform system reset

to perform system reset:

start system, after lenovo logo disappears , windows 10 tries boot, press , hold power button down 5 - 10 seconds perform hard shut down

do twice

on third boot attempt, windows boot windows 10 repair environment, there can access startup recovery, safe mode, command prompt . . . etc.

go troubleshoot - advanced options - reset pc

if windows reset not work, please return laptop place of purchase , them factory restore system . . .



Windows / Windows 10 / Install, upgrade, & activate
