does microsoft read , consider user feedback?

i've seen numerous complaints automatic updates in windows 10 home. i've been looking way prevent work on desktop being disturbed these nuisance updates occur no notice, , require wasting time sorting through auto recover versions of data files.

i prefer option of manually restarting computer when updates available.  periodic pop-up notifications @ least let me save data , close programs before restarting preferred on continually recovering data.

the other alternative more acceptable current arrangement design windows update restore desktop was, or @ least update process save open data files before restarting computer
