downloaded update and lost settings - Microsoft Community

lost original apps , set came in beginning...(life @ glance (frequent apps used)) , apps downloaded, netflix , roku?  how them original without of discs came pc?

my trouble started first update restart (new pc) , silverlight installed.... (heard program caused issues in past , don't know why need , how installed without asking me first.

how can choose updates want , when reboot, , how can recover original settings/apps?

please help?

what update this? 

see if can system restore point before update occurred. 

go on windows 10 performance , install integrity checklist check install set correctly, optimize best performance, , needed repairs.  there reason updates malfunction, corruption typical of inferior upgrade or factory install.  why tech enthusiasts never run upgrade or factory install, prefer clean install.

after these completed report results along still missing , find it.
