i have desktop pc windows 10 1607 on. automatic updates works fine, until 2 nd tuesday's of months updates. updates start downloading not stuck @ various percentages , go no further, , 'but', entire machine system become unusable due 100% disk activity. i have tried https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/10164/fix-windows-update-errors however not fix , it's still same. the way can keep machine in use download latest windows 10 iso , wipe hard disk , fresh install of windows 10. disable or unplug ethernet cable , use wi-fi set metered connection , manually download updates microsoft catalogue , install them. if plug ethernet cable in , allow automatic updates run on 2 nd tuesdays monthly again machine becomes unusable again , have wipe , reinstall new fresh windows again. don't , stick manual method. so anyway of fixing this?? also have exact same issue on laptop , have tried fix using same process above, did n

hey, on desktop pc notification center informed me there issue pc. turns out windows update failed. following message appeard: "there has been error installation of updates .... yadda yadda yadda ... following errorcode might useful (0x80045c38)" i tried google code alone, without keywords, , google threw 8 results, , duckduckgo, same. decided post here. tried reboot several times, changed starting type of windows update service manually , automatic again, rebootet again. downloaded windows update diagnostic tool, claimed have found errors , fixed them. nevertheless after rebooting, error still persistent. error happend recently, , before had no problems windows updates whatsoever since got windows 10 when came out. hopefully has idea, or same problem , has found solution hi, since you're having issues windows update, suggest run windows update troubleshooter   for version of windows

so today when got on chrome greeted message said ask permission curious investigated , microsoft family features. went mom , ask if did , said not , said turn off did after waiting 3 hours let me on chrome continually greeted this-- then once click ask email not take email more since separate family features. but anyway click ask email , pops soooo wait out or hi, it seems you're having issues related family features of windows 10 computer. assist concern, know following: when did start experiencing this? has mom checked parental control settings if correct? do encounter same issue other browsers? have taken troubleshooting steps resolve problem? regards.
