i need know when windows checks update, if before or after login.

because need understand if users can leave pc on without login receive updates or hav login, thanks.

we appreciate earnest effort reach out microsoft community. understand wish know when windows 10 pc checks updates. since introduction of windows update part of windows, microsoft has delivered updates way keep windows updated , secure. has been way company keeps commercial versions of windows on market current. windows 10 is service, means automatic updates turned on default , pc has latest , best features. pc may check , install available update once pc connected internet. internet connectivity of pc key know when windows checks updates. may check article below more information.
