Windows Update Error 0x80045c38 - Microsoft Community

on desktop pc notification center informed me there issue pc. turns out windows update failed. following message appeard:

"there has been error installation of updates .... yadda yadda yadda ... following errorcode might useful (0x80045c38)"

i tried google code alone, without keywords, , google threw 8 results, , duckduckgo, same. decided post here. tried reboot several times, changed starting type of windows update service manually , automatic again, rebootet again. downloaded windows update diagnostic tool, claimed have found errors , fixed them. nevertheless after rebooting, error still persistent. error happend recently, , before had no problems windows updates whatsoever since got windows 10 when came out.

since you're having issues windows update, suggest run windows update troubleshooter for version of windows , try installing available updates again.
