keyboard not working - Microsoft Community

have been using windows 10 since offered free , haven't had problems until  anniversary update. of sudden keyboard stopped working. thinking keyboard no bought new 1 , 1 doesn't work either. tried trying restore earlier date didn't work, tried updating drivers says drivers date, tried roll previous update ,no luck there either. bought new computer when windows auto updated before register it, lost keyword  function on computer also. have suggestions on can fix problem on both new , old computers. please need help.

there might changes happened keyboard settings after updating computer. kindly check filter keys option on following these steps:

1. click start.

2. select settings.

3. go ease of access.

4. select keyboard.

5. turn off filter keys option.

you can try running hardware , devices troubleshooter performing steps below.

1. right-click start.
2. go control panel.
3. on view options, select large icons.
4. click troubleshooting.
5. on left panel, click view all.
6. click hardware , devices.
7. follow on-screen instructions.
