my 1 yr old dell xps 8700 desktop pc came windows 10 not go sleep automatically.  sleep when sleep button on keyboard pressed.  dell has tried numerous times change settings, update drivers, bios etc , nothing works.  reinstall operating system.    worked fine before windows anniversary upgrade. what going on ?   how can fix this?  now, screen saver not come on, , there difficulty waking - computer freezes - not huge problem thanks help.  have run troubleshooters etc.  did find if computer booted usb peripherals disconnected, , disconnect keyboard , mouse, computer sleep automatically.  when mouse , keyboard reconnected, , computer rebooted,  computer not sleep.   any ideas?? have 3rd party anti virus, security, cleanup software installed? two problems. go gmail.com , brought "first verify it's you" page. started happening recently.  defaults work email account. i'd remove account since retired (which highly recommend, btw). up until 8/10/17, click drop down on page , click on personal email address , right account. brings me page says "admin.google.com g suite accounts only. regular gmail accounts cannot used sign in admin.google.com." understand work account g suite account in cloud.  if can wipe out memory of account, think problem solved. thanks!!! hi, i installed windows 10 creator update last night using windows 10 update assistant. since then, have experienced @ least 2 severe problems update. have tried update of drivers using windows update , other methods (e.g. nvidia's update utility).  1. laptop can no longer connected external monitor without experiencing serious ui issues taskbar. this problem makes impossible use laptop external monitor.  2. laptop crashes bsod whenever play file groove music.  3. laptop crashes bsod whenever try use app webcam (e.g. facebook messenger, skype).  although latest update comes interesting features, regret installing soon. hope microsoft fix bugs people can enjoy new features without problems.  have same issue wth nvidia 650m under latest windows creator update.  unfortunately, difficult refuse new versions rolled out. have latest drive oct 30, 2017 , not work external display connected port.  system cr

this ongoing problem getting clean reload of windows 10 on asus notebook. this sort of getting technical, uefi options , software requests ntfs reformatting. i have query out asus see if have bios can use, have a "quick reflash" option. at present, can read flash drive enabling uefi option, microsoft software complains have wrong disk format. it gives me 4 different partitions can update. use 1 labelled "system" ? the main question is: these types of ongoing problem twists need new topics, or can add them old topic? i marked old topic answer "helpful" , pending actual completion of process, haven't managed yet. has add on subject of uefi , reformatting, etc, or partitions are supposed do, , whether should attempt set notebook uefi machine?? i have cloned data onto spare disk through usb, out of way. should sent different forum, not strictly microsoft question?
