Samsung printer is "in an error state" - Microsoft Community

when attempt print on wireless samsung m2020w, keep getting message states printer in error state. no matter how long wait still stays in error state, , wont print. can fix this? tried connecting cpu via usb, , still says printer in error state.

hello rod,

printers need driver software work properly. windows now has basic drivers built in can start using printer right away—even without installing drivers. when connect internet, latest drivers printers should download automatically can use more printing features.

if drivers outdated, incompatible, or damaged, might experience printing problems. downloading , installing latest driver printer can fix problems.

tell version of windows operating system using can provide steps on how can upgrade printer drivers.
