If Recovery partition the same as System Reserved? - Microsoft Community

my former installation of windows 7 had system reserved on secondary hard drive (i created partition).

i have upgraded windows 10.

i notice on  the main drive (c) there partition named (healthy) recovery partition.

is new term system reserved?

what i'd know old system reserved relate windows 7 , can safely deleted.

recovery partition part of drive reset machine how when bought it. windows creates system reserved partition when install on clean disk. windows doesn’t assign drive letter these partitions, you’ll see them when use disk management or similar utility. system reserved partition consumes 350 mb of space on windows 10, not advisable deleting system reserved.
