so i'm having annoying problem start menu. whenever pin start menu , go , try rearrange things, whole menu crash , when go go way before. i've tried running system file checker , came no errors. appreciated.

update:

apparently had corrupted user profile. able make new profile , start menu started working without issue.

there can system conflict on device that's why start menu acting differently when pin app. resolve concern, recommend follow methods below:

method 1: run start menu troubleshooter.

this tool repair issues may occur in start menu. after completing troubleshooter, need restart device.

method 2: perform clean boot.

when place device in clean boot state, detect third party applications or startup items causing issue. this, follow steps below:

1. press windows key + x on keyboard, select run.
2. in run box, type msconfig , hit enter.
3. on services tab of system configuration dialog box, click select hide microsoft services check box, tap or click disable all.
4. click open task manager option on startup tab of system configuration dialog box.
5. on startup tab in task manager, each startup item, select item , click disable.
6. close task manager.
7. click ok on startup tab of the system configuration dialog box, restart device.
