Why Windows 10 Update installs AMD 16.6 Driver instead of 16.12.2? - Microsoft Community

have bought amd card (rx 480). after adding card, windows update installed 16.6 driver. manually updated driver 17.2.1. had issues driver tried roll latest stable driver 16.12.2. after uninstalling 17.2.1, windows installed 16.6 on own. want know why windows installs 16.6 instead of 16.12.2 though 16.12.2 latest whql driver.
