Creating System Images - Microsoft Community

i went create system image onto blue-ray disc first , worked second thing had hard time working gave me error message saying "there no disc drive" ejected drive see if wrong if disc moving out of place straight had make sure , after clicked ok , message on screen still appeared wondered blue-rays not option ejected drive take out blue-ray disc , inserted dvd thinking work no because it"ll keep on asking option click cancel backup sorry ticks me off should do? please fix telling me how resolve problem big thank service.

you need more 1 dvd system image.

if want make recovery media reinstall, use usb flash drive.

create usb recovery drive - windows - microsoft support

for system image backup (everything) better using external hard drive.

use system image backup

you can still use system image backup in windows 8/8.1.
