WLMP conversion-unsupported - Microsoft Community

i wish have known windows live essential 12 unsupported software!  i not have invested 50 hrs video.  now have, movie maker not open, file not open.   directory name invalid.  i have tried numerous converters, updating graphics driver , 2 restore points can @ least converted.  am right assume there absolutely no way open file convert or there no program convert w/o movie maker, losing 50 hrs of work?

all programs have tried said convert wlmp mp4 (and other extensions) bvut not single 1 of them read file...if there resolution....please please please.

a .wlmp file *project* file. it's instructions movie maker on how assemble movie source videos, photos , audio. no other software understands it. there no video converters can convert actual movie.

you mentioned several conflicting problems (can't open movie maker, can't open project file, etc.). specific errors when try each step? can open movie maker @ , start new project, example?
