well few months down line , apps in windows 10 still refuse open including windows store, open , close immediately. had online chat microsoft rep , suggestion  had clean install of windows. now, don't want lose feasible add hard drive desktop, install fresh copy of windows 10 on delete old copy of windows , leave else on original drive.

to better handle concern, recommend perform repair upgrade using windows 10 iso file instead. allow keep personal files , apps. kindly refer wiki article created andre da costa steps on how perform repair upgrade.
