Windows 10 Creator update stalls at 33% after download - Microsoft Community

windows 10 creator 1703 update not complete. initial download , configuration completes 100% subsequent restarts fails progress after display of 33% complete. i'm using rotating dots indicator progress has stopped stop rotating , after waiting several no other progress appears happening. use power switch turn off system begin restart , return of system previous version completes successfully. i'm re-prompted windows 10 creator update. selected snooze hoping 1 can provide answer question of causing problem. 

i reading online blogs have been told use cmd temporarily disable windows updates entering "net stop wuauserv" change dir "c:\windows\softwaredistribution" , del contents of directory. ten restart updates "net start wuauserv".

this hasn't file in directory "eventlog" did delete not other directories.
