framework 4 windows 7 downloads fine installs incredibly slow. left install run 6 hrs. showed no progress on install bar, showed 11 items installed. av , firewall off.

never let application run more 8-10 minutes without showing progress,youre corrupting os

& pc hardware..either way,make sure .net installed thru win components,make sure youre user account has

adm avalability,uninstall user parental software in account..also, .net 4.0 has many updates/installations. .net 1.1

is place start,then v3.5  v4.0 might install v4.51 update.
