Can't delete corrupted files in Movie Maker project

hi,

can specific movie maker problem? :-/

i've searched answers haven't managed find solution.

i'm creating project , had finished editing number of clips transitions, music etc.

one of files i've imported , had split , inserted in 3 different parts of project seems corrupted.

okay, no problem - bring in file again , re-edit etc. did. time file okay , insert same places, no proble.

but problem can't seem delete old corrupted file.

it's there in project , refuses leave. i've tried sorts of things can't seem remove it.

that means clips still there, play black duration.

you can still see corrupted files on timeline, yellow warning triangles, can't access them, move them or delete them.

any suggestions gratefully received don't want start project again it's quite involved, lots of files.

drag video clips end of story line, select , right click , delete.

click on yellow traingle , follow says. might have changed on video clips.
