upgraded windows 8 windows 8.1. when had windows 8 windows update worked fine after upgrading windows 8.1 stucks on checking updates , not move further. please me solving issue..

we can see here having issues windows 8.1's update. there several factors why stuck on checking updates , below recommend issue:

method 1. run scan again.

if scan freezes , doesn't complete when windows update scanning updates, try run scan again.

method 2. run windows update troubleshooter.

method 3. perform system restore.

1. turn off computer manually pressing power button.
2. start computer pressing power button.
3. at logon screen, tap or click power icon in lower-right corner.
4. press shift key, , tap or click restart.
5. on choose option page, tap or click troubleshoot, , tap or click advanced options.
6. tap or click system restore. computer restart system restore. select account continue.
7. on system restore page, tap or click next.
8. when restoration process complete, tap or click restart.
