using windows 7 premium home edition , have questions , looking for opinions installing ms security essentials. qualify anti-virus program? screen , protect against mal-ware? usably worthwhile? had read on posts people had problems systems after installing it. not running av program clean load no interference. if have info or expertise please let me know. thank-you. 

yes functional real time anti-virus solution , works in conjunction windows defender (already installed) , internet explorer's smartscreen filter provide adequate malware protection comparable av suites. have used many years and have had no failures.

if investigate defender can confused microsoft av solution 8/10 called defender
