Error- You do not have permission to update Windows xp - Microsoft Community

hello,

my first post here, have old thinkpad running windows xp, have tried in vain install wanna-cry patch -

security update windows xp sp3 (kb4012598) issued microsoft. i'm having problems installation of patch above error message. 

i found older discussion on , solution respect changing administrators rights fix refers page via hyperlink seems have been changed, maybe after end of support windows xp.
now understand microsoft ended support supplied patch above problem, if can't patch on seems bit of waste. can me solution "average user" implement.
