Display is bigger than it usually is - Microsoft Community

i'm using windows 7.  when turned on computer morning larger has been.  can reduce size using ctrl -, isn't permanent.  next time signed, big again.  extends programs word , quicken.  in quicken, register doesn't fit entirely on screen , in word, takes entire screen.  can reset size in word using zoom icons on bottom right, quicken respond ctrl -.  has happened , there way fix it?
