Is it possible to perform a windows 10 upgrade when i can not get into - Microsoft Community

is possible perform windows 10 upgrade , keep software , user files,

when can not windows 10 install more( when, repair did not work @ all)?

the upgrade works when in windows 10 install. if can not more , repair not work more, there option start upgrade when not in windows 10 install?

windows 7 did have option, in windows 10 did not find yet.

unfortunately, can't, have perform custom install if can't boot windows 10 desktop.

windows 8.1, windows 8.0, windows 7, windows vista never had option perform in place repair upgrade outside of desktop.

windows xp , earlier versions supported option.

the best can perform custom install recover files windows.old folder.
