Windows update driver query - Microsoft Community

i updated creators update yesterday, , went well.

i needed uninstall , install nvidia driver test today, , of course windows being genius is, installs out of date driver automatically upon reboot. did manage around tweaking group policy, not issue @ present.

however quick google showed several posts screenshots of "settings > updates , security > windows update > advanced settings" having checkboxes tell windows not download drivers windows update (and apparently these machines running creators update) these checkboxes not present on system. 

nor present in control panel > system > advanced settings > hardware > device installation. 

i running win 10 pro 64bit, far aware there should checkbox somewhere, alas, there nothing. 

system not configured other gpo's or other tweaks disable ability see things that, i'm curious if perhaps system didn't apply entire update correctly, or if expected. other thing can think might possible reason, initially, copy of windows upgraded windows 10 free windows 7. 
have since upgraded pc, , transferred software new hardware, purchased new oem copy of win 10 pro when bought hardware, , activated new licence after installing. 

is possible these options missing due upgrading windows 7, , should fresh install oem disk, show up?

for better assistance, need answers following questions:

• is computer connected domain?
• have tried manually updating drivers on computer?
• do error messages or stop code upon updating drivers?

in meantime, suggest run microsoft easy fix solution tool. tool diagnose , fix known issues. keep computer updated.
