Windows Live Mail- I can receive but not send - Microsoft Community

suddenly today windows live mail allows me emails, cannot send. ideas, suggestions on how fix?

the inability send outgoing email may happen due several reasons file corruption or wrong outgoing email settings. better isolate issue, kindly answer following questions:

  • which version of windows live mail using?
  • are encountering error message? if so, it?
  • are using outlook account or imap/pop account?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far resolve this?
