i used mothers usb(with important work folders , files) windows 10 installer on usb. missed fact format/erase content. , cannot locate anything. question is..

how these files back?? on usb , not located anywhere else since mother doesn't trust anything.

i used laptop windows 10 installer onto usb , did not want format.

please help

formatting erase files on drive , create new fat32 file system.

if reinstall windows, personal files temporarily saved windows.old folder 28 days (unless formatted hard drive before installing). if decide want or of these files back, can retrieve them folder.

did run deep scan using recuva? may find files using option.

this list of free recovery software. might try others don't believe you'll able retrieve files other backup.
