I have been contacted via email and requested to complete a Microsoft - Microsoft Community


for several weeks client has been receiving emails person claiming consultant microsoft. person requesting client fill out elaborate spreadsheet titled, "deployment summary". have been working 20 years , have never encountered of nature before now. instincts not trust person , ignore request.  

i have searched web , read many different responses question on if or not scam have not been able find clear answer. 

some of tech sites mention possibility of being legit request, yet of forums mention scam. 

is there authoritative source clear answer?  can provide definitive answer situation?
