WLMail shows always Work Offline, how to fix? - Microsoft Community

[i have win 10; dell desktop; wlmail2012; firefox browser]

was told fix opening internet explorer, looking "file", , uncheck work offline.  but...although haven't used ie years searched of morning , when found , opened it, didn't have content!  looked abandoned store!

so found these instructions thread (from 2013 though!!!):

"do mean work offline button on ribbon has big red 'x' on it? it's supposed - it's command button, meaning click says on button. problem is, doesn't work since introduction of internet explorer 11. have rely on message @ right-hand end of status bar tell program's online/offline status."

i followed them, but, while changed big globe above "offline" "online"...it changed 1 @ far right task bar opposite: "offline".  okay?  shouldn't both show same?  however, after 30 minutes or so....the big globe above again showing "offline"....    :(

p.s.  wish webmaster here @ ms fixed "results" 4 or 5 years obsolete!!!

the work offline button on top right placed button apply said command while working offline status bar @ bottom right current status of windows live mail (if connected internet or not). if try click on work offline button on top right, notice status bar @ bottom changes working offline since you’ve press command temporarily disconnect windows live mail. while button highlights indicating working offline enabled.
