similar problem discussed here: windows 10. reboot , select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device , press key, when startup pc or restart, every other time "reboot , select proper boot device..." message. have windows install disc on hand, , using run startup repair works every time. however, after shutdown day, or restart reason, there high chance failed boot. first time happened on dec 26, , i've had same pc no hardware changes since august 2015. initially, thought dealing kind of virus, did pc reset, keep file form. still regularly run issue. wondering next step fix this. thinking might os bug introduced update @ christmas. should noted i'm having no issues running pc @ stress while gaming.

note: this might take while finish scanning. do not cancel.
method 4: clean boot.
