my laptop refusing connect internet , troubleshooters kept saying modem problem, however, phone on exact same wifi no issues. looked online , found post said might adware causing problem, ended removing last program installed uneffective, tried doing reset after backing info no luck. when attempted restore system said driver tcpip missing , should use recovery media. following that, did factory reset believing removing on computer , returning factory conditions fix problem, not case laptop remains unable access wireless internet has no issues ethernet connection.
i tried running command propt , using command netsh int ip reset unsuccessful, there can driver in working order?
should note laptop 4 years old , out of warranty

read under these different headers @ above link:
1. enable laptop wi-fi button
2. enable laptop fn , function key
3. enable in windows
note: in windows 8, when right-click wi-fi icon, check see if airplane mode turned on. if is, turn off enable wireless network card.
4. enable in windows device manager.
