Cannot View Pictures File In Windows Photo Gallery - Microsoft Community

i have looked through forums , couldn't find answer issue or through google search. use windows photo gallery edit photos , select photo , right click , choose open in photo gallery , opens no problem.....however today showed me screen asking me save file (when should opening in editor).

i decided try , go gallery , open file there instead of file explorer , got different message saying file or file folder in hidden. went through properties of files , folders in computer making sure "hide file" box , "read-only" box unchecked. still can't pull up.

it shows 2 files under photos folder , documents section, not in photos @ all! last attempt fix problem try , delete folders gallery , try , include them again see if pop , still not good.

i'm frustrated @ point , need help! below ive attached of messages pop up. 1 says cant open video file searching pictures

  • which windows version using (e.g. windows 10, windows 7)?
  • were there hardware/software changes on computer prior issue?
