Backup Windows 7 from my Windows 10 PC - Microsoft Community

hey. need on backing windows 7 files , setting windows 10. tried backing them , scheduling backup far nothing has been backed up. tried "back now" , still nothing being backed up. tried create system image got error message backup failing. using 1tb external hard drive.

  • is computer kept powered on overnight? when last time restart computer?
  • what troubleshooting steps have tried far?

restarting computer may fix kind of scenario. suggest restart computer if haven't done it.
