Windows 8.1 DPC Watchdog Violation Blue Screen - Microsoft Community

i purchased usb asus xonar u3 sound card because headphone jack busted. works few weeks ago started getting dpc watchdog violations bsods. did research , downloaded , updated sound cards drivers others find, still getting blue screened. when sound being played, when gaming, , sound cuts out. laptop locks @ whatever moment sound cut out at, 15 seconds later dpc blue screen.
