i reinstall hp envy 7640 printer , received message below

you using unsupported version of internet explorer. please upgrade browser.

version 11.0.9600.18665

update version 11.0.42 (kb4018271)

now have not updated atleast 4 days.

it looks using latest stable version of internet explorer , should not getting error message. identify cause of error when installing printer, know following information:

  • how installing printer? using cd or dvd came printer or have downloaded installer internet?
  • do receive error message upon launching installer?
  • are having issues accessing other websites using internet explorer?

in meantime, suggest reset internet explorer settings. can useful troubleshooting problems might caused configuration error. resetting internet explorer isn't reversible, , previous settings lost after reset.

we recommend download pending updates need installed through windows update , check if helps resolve issue.
