hi! installed windows 8.1 iso file microsoft site. ok. set setup search , install updates. , got message action center make updates. clicked more details. , found out have looooot of updates do. 100+ updates.

is normal, why updates?

i tried updates. when rebooting.. got stuck @ „updating system (1%)”.

what should now?

the last time did there on 100 updates , find doing many unreliable.

what worked deselect blocks of updates, in particular removed of .net updates until else had completed , allowed these run. past experience these can extremely slow doing way seemed progress well.
