i had 13.4 gb free on system drive, windows updates continue fill c drive. i'm careful add new files , programs d drive. had download special 1607 anniversary update file external drive install it.
today woke c drive being full again. went c:\users\{myusername}\appdata\local\temp\ , found 2,276 folders time stamps on 4 hours yesterday , started downloading more today. stopped 13.7 gb (14.0 on disk) -- 254,3231 files in 4,488 folders! has microsoft forgotten customers have small laptops? acer aspire sw3-013 has 32 gb ssd , updated fine until recently.
i went microsoft updates catalog http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com , search windows 10 1607 , found nothing new. have kb3216755 installed - again after deleting temp folders , manually downloading update drive run it.
my question: 32-bit operating system on 64-bit processor, installed standard kb3216755 update - should have installed 1 x64-based systems ?
hi,
we recommend using 64-bit operating system on 64-bit processor optimal performance. suggest upgrading hard drive. ssd , fast, has low storage. kindly upgrade 120 gb storage won't encountering issue again.
feel free post if have more concerns.
regards.
