Problem Uninstalling App... - Microsoft Community

i installed ublock origin edge browser windows store, , decided uninstall it.

 

now every time start windows, windowsupdateclient apparently tries re-install it.  consistently see 3 consecutive event ids related after each startup in windows system log.

 

event id 44:  windows update started downloading update.

event id 43:  installation started:  windows has started installing following update: ublock origin

event id 20:  installation failure:  windows failed install following update error 0x80073d05: ublock origin.

 

and "ublock origin" appears again in start menu under "u".  although can select uninstall [and entry deleted start menu], reboot, process start again event id 20.

 

how can prevent windows attempting re-install ublock origin after each boot?  event data appears below.

kindly try clear windows store's cache running wsreset command.
