no changes, system installed same day issue appeared. before formatting , reinstalling current windows had same problem. happens when searching photos , music on secondary drive. if searching pdf files, instance, on seconary drive, won't appear @ (they not fall under category therefore don't appear guess).

• have tried files manually going through file explorer , see if saved on computer?
• does issue happen on every item search using cortana?
• what exact error message shows when you're using cortana?
