Windows 32-bit installer error - Microsoft Community

i'm trying install 32-bit version of windows 10 on old xp computer when try boot installer comes error saying "your pc needs repaired"

file \windows\system32\config\system

status: 0xc0000017

the operating system couldn't loaded because system registry file missing or contains errors.

this happens on both cd , usb flash drive , can't installer open. have tried recreating installation files media creation tool same result. know of solution.

are starting installation within windows xp or booting windows 10 installation media?

please note, can't start installation program in windows xp. if computer compatible, need boot install media perform custom install. learn how:
