Windows 10 licence expiring - Microsoft Community
hi,
today pc showed me message telling windows have expiring. have os since had win 8.1 , update win 10, says in microsoft support key digital. dont have code me, can do?
windows 8.0, windows 8.1 or windows 10 came preinstalled on computer, how find product key?
press windows key + x
click command prompt (admin)
enter following command:
wmic path softwarelicensingservice oa3xoriginalproductkey
hit enter
the product key revealed, copy product key enter it
click start > settings > update & security > activation > change product key enter new product key click next to activate
if unable activate windows 10 after above , have correct edition installed, please attempt phone activation:
Windows / Windows 10 / Install, upgrade, & activate / PC
