windows 10 recovery disc - Microsoft Community

i have not been able correct –no sound-. used emergency disc. shows error code # 0xc00000e9. under control panel/systems , security shows “backup , restore windows 7”, nothing win10. if click on restore win7 opens window shows “backup , restore files”. can click on in window. nothing happens.

i followed instructions creating restore usb. showed. “some files missing. insert installation disc. not have installation disc. graded win8.1. now?

if it's clean install windows 10 follow steps in link.

otherwise go on windows 10 performance , install integrity checklist - microsoft community check install set correctly, optimized best performance , needed repairs done.

make sure have latest sound driver installed  pc model's support downloads webpage.   more here for  updating driver. - microsoft community .

if nothing else works short of clean install can install media creation tool , choose upgrade install new creators version update reinstall os while keeping files, programs , settings in place.  should solve problems , new version installed without having wait windows update deliver it.
