Win10 Update fails and OneDrive can't transfer files - Microsoft Community

i have 1 x dell laptop, 1 dell all-in-one , 1 x windows phone.

laptop , phone have no problems.

dell all-in-one has not been able update windows10 home several weeks, despite using retry on settings/update page , using manual download/install win 10 download update site of different build versions. different cumulative updates repeatedly failed.

dell all-in-one repeatedly warns 'onedrive can't transfer files @ time', despite trying recommended onedrive reset , manual onedrive (all folders) sync.

i have read matching community comments , tried several recommendations nothing seems work.

i not have business onedrive.

would idea/safe/feasible make clean windows 10 reinstall/rebuild? help!

further information - first update failure began 14dec2016 when kb3199986 failed - tried manually reloading/installing update - downloaded ok - initialised ok - green line ran way across during install reported 'failed!' (no error code)

try run windows update troubleshooter.

to that, go link , follow on-screen instruction.

also, check update history , see if there’s error code going settings > update & security > windows update.

then refer windows update error code list.
