recently i've updated windows 7 machine , ever since i've installed security updates , everything, cant seem play rome: total war anymore.

steps have taken far still able play:

• right click run administrator. result: no error message, game doenst launch @ all.
• activate administrator account , run there. result: no error message, game doesnt launch @ all.
• tried circumventing using sandboxie. result: no error message, game doesnt launch @ all.
• reinstalling , trying above steps reproduced same results
  

before i've updated, game running fine.

what other steps can take possible fix this.

know rolling before security updates , whatnot, but... rather not that.

we suggest perform clean boot start windows using minimal set of drivers , startup programs. helps eliminate software conflicts occur when install program or update or when run program in windows 7. kindly check link on how perform clean booth.
