Windows 7 Backup schedule deactivates, but runs fine mannually - Microsoft Community

dear all:

i've seen happen in 2 computers, under mycare, 1 on win 7 64, other on win 10, spanish version.  can run backup time manually clicking on "backup now", no problem on that. 

schedule shows disabled.

if enable it, seems so, if check hours later, before scheduled time, shows again "disabled". same if go setup , try arrange different schedule.

the account i'm using administrative one, so, there ideas?

this started think in february, before working fine.

please provide answers following able learn more issue you're experiencing:

• when did issue start? changes made or things you've done before issue start?
  
• are drivers updated?
  
• have tried creating different administrator account , got same result?
  

in meantime, can consider running following scans repair missing or corrupted system files:

• system file checker
  system file checker or sfc utility in windows allows users scan corruptions in windows system files , restore these corrupted files.
  
• dism or  system update readiness tool
  dism or deployment image servicing , management can fix component store corruption prevents sfc command working properly.
  

you can boot pc safe mode and observe if issue persists. here's link can follow steps on how start windows in safe mode. starting pc safe mode uses minimal set of drivers , services.
