Projector suddenly disconnects from the laptop during watching the - Microsoft Community

hello,

i have new , powerful asus g752vy windows 10 home. when connect sanyo fz-700 working fine while (i use watch movies) , projector screen goes black , shortly after screen disconnects , need disconnect , connect hdmi cable again make work again. issue happens multiple times during film.

never had kind of problem before. have up-to-date nvidia drivers, up-to-date codecs , brand new hdmi cable. therefore, i'm guessing it's sort of software problem, not hardware, , connected windows 10, on windows 7 problem non-existent. tried different players, same problem, although on all-player more rare on media player classic.

i tried browse web, when has problem, answer "update drivers" or "change cable", , both solutions not applicable case. please help.

full laptop specs: asus rog g752vy-t7049t 17.3" g-sync fhd ips, intel i7-6820hk, nvidia gtx980m 8gb gddr5
