Creator's update won't install. - Microsoft Community

i have hp pavilion 17-g100 notebook pc series. creator's update has failed on multiple attempts. system reset , restored couple times, updated, including drivers , bios.

first tried update through update assistant after couple hours of downloading , installing lead bsod system_pte_misuse error after reboot. tried clean install iso on usb created through media creation tool. again lead same result after bootup.

in-place upgrade iso done microsoft tech support resulted in endless reboot loop.  however before in-place upgrade started message popped saying:  creators update has hardware incompatibility amd carrizo a10-8700p.

microsoft , hp support tried possible ways of troubleshooting laptop , installing update. clear common repair methods not work , issue lies in hardware incompatibility of amd carrizo a10-8700p creator's update.

hp refused further troubleshooting, claiming microsoft fix it.

check following list find out if hp listed compatible creators update.

check list determine if computer compatible windows 10 creators update or anniversary update or not

if not, refrain upgrading.
