Conflict between wireless internet access name and wireless network - Microsoft Community

i setup wirless connection between 2 laptops (1 running windows 7 64 bit other running windows 10) , brother mfc9340cdw. lot of printing , scanning windows 7 laptop windows 10 has no problems not need scan. ran beautifully.  got curious 1 day , decided setup home network. original network "name". new network made "name2". since cant scan although printing works fine. printer see computer on network choose when trying scan when goes connect stays @ "connecting" until gives up. in researching brother found may confused 2 networks.  i want rid of "name2". helllppp

are using router or trying establish direct wifi connection between each of computers , printer?

exactly how did set new network?
