Windows 10 EFI Bootloader Keeps Deleting Itself/going missing - Microsoft Community

over past 9 months, i've had happen 5 times. 

4 times on first ssd hard drive (the forth time happened, ssd unretrievable , broken). now, happening on new ssd hard drive.

when happens, auto repair not work.  repairing windows installation not work either.  it says drive locked not provide option log-in credentials unlock it.  so, each time, have to format hard drive, re-partition hard drive via diskpart,  , re-install windows 10 via usb.

the fifth time, on new ssd, troubling because shows not problem old hard drive, happening new 1 same.  i've had month or , not allow me format drive re-install windows via usb (error 0x80300024).  still unable boot (efi missing), and i unable auto-repair or repair windows (because locked). 

the first 2 times, on windows 10 insider.  so, thought maybe, insider preview bug , have been off since then.  but, next 3 times, have been on windows 10 pro not insider program.  maybe has recent update?

i browsing chrome when the computer froze morning.  fine last night.  upon restarting, presented bsod telling me efi missing once again.

we need more information matter can continue our research, kindly answer following questions clarification:

  • which version , build windows 10?
  • how did install windows 10?
  • have tried deleting partition on drive when installing windows 10 on pc?

kindly can assist further.
