Windows 10 Activation - Microsoft Community

hi,

i took offer last year of free windows 10 upgrade on 4 of devices, combination of desktops , tablets.   these devices operating combination of windows 7 , 8.1.   process came varying results , varying levels of ease.   got point 3 out of 4 of machines working required.   gave on 1 never stable result full functionality.

my home office pc had been working away until when had motherboard failure.   since the motherboard change, an 'activate windows' watermark has been sitting on screen.   after reading learned 'normal' after major component changes on machine windows 10 os.

i have 2 msn accounts i've used years xbox , work back-up.   regardless of do, cannot through activation process.   have annoying watermark on every document @ , video view.   can no longer view dvds on pc, though had purchased ms dvd app.

i don't think it's right have revert windows 7 or pay ~$130 activation code product i legally acquired, backed off ms product purchased (windows 7).

advice appreciated.

we want clarify, when you're trying activate computer getting error messages? have tried checking information in article on how activate windows 10?
